5 Tips for Pain Free Shovelling this Winter

  1. Keep your hips and shoulders squared up towards the shovel
  2. bend from your knees and your hips
  3. keep your back straight
  4. engage your core muscles while you lift or push the snow
  5. avoid picking up the snow by bending and twisting .. instead opt for a push shovel/technique

 

 

ps- Don’t forget to warm up before shovelling!! Snow can be heavy and shovelling can be considered a moderate to intense exercise.
