The pandemic exposed the need for change and why equity in healthcare is more important than ever. Despite its challenges, it got us talking openly about our responsibilities as individuals and organizations to give back to our communities.
Healthcare is not exempt. Founded and built by community based entrepreneurs, Foundation Physiotherapy & Wellness recognizes the need to improve accessibility and diversity in health care. We are proud to present –
Future Faces of Healthcare.
Our Vision
To improve the accessibility of high-quality physiotherapy to marginalized communities and people of colour through empowering BIPOC to pursue careers in health care.
Our Mission
Create an internship program for aspiring healthcare entrepreneurs, exposing them to the realities of healthcare access while building a legacy project that improves access for marginalized communities and people of colour.

Are you currently enrolled in 4th year of health science, applied science, or kinesiology undergrad with a plan to apply to a postgraduate rehabilitation program OR currently enrolled in 1st year of physiotherapy, chiropractic, or RMT program in Ontario?
What will the internship entail?
We’re asking interested interns to lead a project that will address the gap between BIPOC communities and their accessibility to high-quality rehabilitation services. More information is found in the application link below.
The successful applicants will work with our team to implement this legacy program in the community. During the internship, they will also have the opportunity to gain exposure at our clinics, observing and learning from our executive, leadership, and clinical teams.
