Ben Wong
RMT
Registered Massage Therapist (Senior Associate)
Hello! My name is Ben and I’m a graduate of the Centennial College Massage Therapy Program and have been practicing since 2011. I have an interest in the clinical and athletic aspects of massage therapy through my background of being a competitive athlete myself. In the past, I’ve worked with a variety of clientele including athletes, seniors, infants, individuals with special needs, palliative patients and health care providers in the hospital setting. My skill set includes deep tissue, myofascial release, (an interest in) lymphatic drainage, pre-natal massage, rehabilitation massage and sports massage.
I enjoy being active in my spare time doing activities such as going to the gym, running, training for my next race, playing badminton, and volleyball as well. In my years of being active, I competed in badminton from high school through college and do the occasional race in the city. Through my college years, I had a great doubles partner and we won gold and silver in men’s doubles badminton at the OCAA Provincial Championships and had the opportunity to represent Team Ontario where we placed 5th in men’s doubles at CCAA National Championships both years.
These days, I’ll be seen around the city just running and adding more miles or getting ready for another half or full marathon.
