Hi, I’m Marcelo and I am a Registered Massage Therapist and a Registered Manual Osteopathic Practitioner. I graduated from Sheridan College in 2015 from Athletic Therapy, Ontario College of Health and Technology in 2017 from Massage Therapy, and my diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practitioner from the National Academy of Osteopathy in 2019. I also completed my studies in my Doctor of Osteopathy from National University of Medical Sciences of Spain in 2020.

I began my healthcare journey during my teenage years where I began getting sports injuries. Through countless research and self-rehabilitation I began to enjoy learning more about healing and how injuries impact our abilities in our daily activities. I continued my education through various programs to further my understanding of the human body and how influential the body mechanics has to do with injuries. I even worked with various sports teams just to understand more about the common injuries that can occur and the best ways to help treat them. During my time as a practitioner I have been learning and receiving certificates for acupuncture, cranial sacral techniques, visceral manipulation, dry needling, taping, cupping, gua sha, and fascial abrasion tools.

I even played soccer in Europe for a first division soccer academy and a second division team. I have worked in hospitals, retirement homes, healthcare centers, colleges, high schools, and clinics. I believe manual therapy techniques, exercises and maintaining a healthy lifestyle are key in the rehabilitation of injuries. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, soccer, squash, cycling, and the outdoors.
