Physiotherapy strength and conditioning is a one-on-one personal training program created and supervised by a registered physiotherapist.

What does the program entail?

The initial assessment includes a detailed health history, discussion of your goals followed by an initial baseline assessment. Subsequent sessions are one hour in the gym, progressively working on improving your baseline findings. If time allows, you may be indicated for stretching or manual therapy at the end. In order to see results, a cadence of once a week for TEN weeks is highly recommended.

All sessions are one-one-one with a physiotherapist, and eligible for extended health care reimbursement.

Initial Assessment:
  • 60 minutes with a physiotherapist
  • Detailed health history
  • Discussion of goals
  • Baseline assessement of posture, movement, strength and flexibility
Followup Sessions:
  • 60 min active gym session, one-on-one supervised and motivated by a physiotherapist
  • Stretching or manual therapy may be included within the 60 min depending on your goals and needs
  • Min 1/week for 12 weeks is recommended to see results!
  • A warmup and cool down, prior to and following your session, may be required
