Registered Kinesiologist, Canadian Certified Pedorthist

Location: Trinity Bellwoods Dundas West

I joined Foundation Physiotherapy & Wellness in 2026 to bring an elite service offering for clients who need custom foot orthotics, custom knee bracing and footwear education. Pedorthists are uniquely trained in both the assessment for and manufacturing of custom foot orthotics. Pedorthists are the only profession that is trained exclusively in designing custom foot orthotics, which means you are getting a truly bespoke device that can be modified and optimized on-site and in real time as your body adapts back to normal function.

I’ve been refining the art of gait and running analysis since 2013 with over 25,000 analysis conducted and counting. I’ve seen everything, from small asymmetries slowing down athletes, to large compensations causing pain. I have developed an obsessive passion for helping clients move better by analyzing their posture and gait patterns, educating them with visual cues on what’s slowing their body down, and creating comprehensive treatment plans that give them hope and autonomy. Treatment regularly consists of 1-on-1 education correcting movement patterns, products such as custom foot orthotics, bracing, and footwear that facilitate normal healthy movement, as well as exercises that make joints less reliant on routine therapy or bulky products to move efficiently.

Custom foot orthotics, lift therapy, and footwear prescription are my specialty. These tools can be part of either a short-term rehab plan that focuses on improving the function of a painful joint or muscle, or part of a long-term solution to support and correct deformities of the feet, ankles, knees, hips, pelvis and lower back. Custom orthotics at Foundation are not your grandparent’s orthotics. We use modern technology and manufacturing to design bespoke devices that are thin, resilient to repeated load, and fit seamlessly into your existing footwear.

When I’m not analyzing people’s gait or judging runner’s shoe choices, you can find me outdoors and playing sports. Backcountry camping, cycling, and squash are hobbies I’ve matured into as an adult, and I’ve been playing hockey, volleyball, and soccer my entire life. I’m an avid traveller (not a vacationer!) and have some crazy stories to share – just ask me! If you have some cool travel stories, I’d love to hear those too. If you want to learn about custom foot orthotics, footwear design & performance, or anything related to foot health, come find me at our Trinity-Bellwoods location in the heart of Toronto.
