Physiotherapist
Locations: Downtown Core and Home Care
Hi, I’m Carly, and I am a Physiotherapist working at Foundation’s Downtown Core location!
My path to physiotherapy began at Wilfrid Laurier University, where I completed an Honours Bachelor of Science. I then followed that up with a Master of Science in Health Services Research and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto, graduating in 2026.
Throughout my clinical training, I had the opportunity to work across a variety of healthcare settings, including private practice, rehabilitation, and acute care, where I worked with diverse patient populations including orthopedics, acquired brain injury, oncology, general internal medicine, and pediatrics. These experiences gave me a unique perspective on the patient journey and a deep appreciation for meeting individuals where they are in their recovery, whether they are managing a new injury, recovering from surgery, or working toward long-term health goals. My approach to treatment is holistic, collaborative, and individualized. I incorporate education, exercise prescription, and manual therapy to help patients understand their condition, build confidence, and achieve meaningful goals.
Having played hockey for 11 years, I know how important movement, sport, and physical activity can be to overall well-being. Whether your goal is returning to sport, getting back to the gym, recovering from an injury, or staying active in your day-to-day life, I am committed to helping you get there!
Outside of work, I enjoy strength training, yoga, Pilates, and walking around the city to discover new restaurants and local favourites.
I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your rehabilitation journey!
