MScPT
Registered Physiotherapist, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Concussion Rehabilitation Consultant
Hi, my name is Jason. I completed my Master of Physical Therapy at Western University and Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science at York University. I grew up playing a number of different sports, but it was not until I was introduced to the weight room during
high school did I begin to develop a strong interests and appreciation towards human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics in relation to sport performance and injury prevention/ rehab. This turning point led me to pursue a career as Personal trainer in my
earlier years and eventually become a Physiotherapist. In addition, I am currently certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA, which is widely recognized as the industry gold standard.
I believe in empowering my patients and working together as a team to achieve your goals. I take a holistic approach to create a personalized treatment plan that incorporates the latest evidence and focuses on identifying the root cause of your concern. My treatment includes a blend of manual therapy techniques, patient education, and an individualized home exercise program to resolve your primary issue.
I firmly believe in the importance of lifelong learning and am currently pursuing further education in manual therapy, acupuncture, and dry needling techniques. Recognizing the value of an active lifestyle, I have a strong interest in working with athletes of all levels, from
weekend warriors and regular gym enthusiasts to those just beginning their health and wellness journeys.
When I’m not at the clinic, you can find me rock climbing, lifting weights, shooting some hoops, or biking outdoors when the weather is nice! I’m always on the lookout for new restaurants or cafés in the city, so feel free to share any recommendations!
