Course Objectives:
  1. Understand the suitable indications and contraindications to acupuncture
  2. Understand the theory behind acupuncture, and the differences between traditional and an anatomical approach to acupuncture
  3. Understand how to safely perform the methods and respond to adverse reactions.
  4. Learn over 25 points through the spine, head, upper and lower extremities.
  5. Choose and defend choice of specific acupuncture points for treatments.
  6. Be able to integrate immediately into everyday manual therapy practice

Duration: 12 hours

Group Size: Maximum 12 participants (first come, first served, waitlist available)

Cost: $565.00 CAD total (Fee $500 + HST $65)
Discounts of 50–100% may apply based on status with Foundation

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations after May 4, 2025 are subject to fees
  • Late cancellations charged 50%
  • No-shows charged full price

Eligibility:

  • Best suited for physiotherapists as an introductory acupuncture course
  • Non-physiotherapists should confirm eligibility with their regulatory body
  • There is an examination component, making this course eligible for rostering as per the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
