Course Objectives:
- Understand the suitable indications and contraindications to acupuncture
- Understand the theory behind acupuncture, and the differences between traditional and an anatomical approach to acupuncture
- Understand how to safely perform the methods and respond to adverse reactions.
- Learn over 25 points through the spine, head, upper and lower extremities.
- Choose and defend choice of specific acupuncture points for treatments.
- Be able to integrate immediately into everyday manual therapy practice
Duration: 12 hours
Group Size: Maximum 12 participants (first come, first served, waitlist available)
Cost: $565.00 CAD total (Fee $500 + HST $65)

Eligibility:
- Best suited for physiotherapists as an introductory acupuncture course
- Non-physiotherapists should confirm eligibility with their regulatory body
- There is an examination component, making this course eligible for rostering as per the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
