Foundation Physiotherapy and Wellness is seeking a collaborative and patient-centered Sports Medicine Physician to work alongside our expanding sports performance and orthopedic-focused practice at Trinity Bellwoods in Toronto, ON. Receive referrals from across all of Foundation’s clinics and grow your practice alongside a professional rehabilitation team!

Compensation:

  • Maintain 100% of your annual billing structure.
  • Expected commitment: Position can start at one shift/week and progress as need increases.
  • Full administrative support provided by the clinic.
  • Flat rate or rent models available and negotiable.

Start Date: This position is set to start as soon as possible

Education: postgraduate degree

Qualifications:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
  • Diploma in Sport Medicine from the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM)

Skills:

  • Ability to collaborate with allied health professionals to develop evidence-based, personalized treatment plans.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary medical team including neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, and physiatrists.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate care with rehabilitation providers such as chiropractors, physiotherapists, registered massage therapists, and osteopaths.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical assessments, diagnoses, and non-surgical management of musculoskeletal injuries.
